Double bed with silver chrome metal frame with mattress. Double bed with mattress £25 4 ft 6 inch wide mattress A silver coloured metal framed bed with a wooden topped headboard. This is a low down bed with a reasonably soft, but comfortable mattress. Mattress is in good condition as it has always been used with a quilted mattress protector, its about 18 months old. The base of the bed is made of wooden slats and has a metal support up the middle The frame of the bed is sturdy, but when lifting it one of the spars at the bottom has broken (see pictures) this is held together with tape, its been like this for 6 months and has never caused any problems. Also the same has happened with the wooden headboard strip but this slots back in again and in no way weakens the strength of the bed. The wooden part of the headboard has a few scratches.
